Hospital, Or ShitHole???
So much things happened in just one week. So much that i just cannot handle some of the pressure. Lucky, in the end i managed and is now in the office BLOGGING… (like DUH?).
We went to Heng Zhou last weekend. All of us went on a two day weekend trip, except of cos the foreva stubborn, insocialble, inexplainable Mr. Almeric (Birthday boy, Remember?), who refuses to go, being contented just being in the damn hotel room.
And while we are away, he did stunt. He ate alone in some stupid place and stupidly landed in hot shit. When we came back on sunday, he was still ok and chippy. then on monday morning…
He looked like he’s going to die any second… Vomit continuously. Shit continuously… So Don and Marcus brought him to the “Shanghai No.1 People’s Hospital.”
“NUMBER 1″ INDEED.
The fucking doctor diagnosed WRONGLY and said he got just a slight stomach problem, and discharge him that same day…. And in the evening…
Mati. He is sufferiing so much in the hotel room, that in the end we have to ward him again. He vomitted in the cab.
All this time, i was in the office, except when we were bringing him to the hospital the second time.
For the first time in my life, i stepped into a Shanghai China Hospital. And WTF!?
The smell is over whelming.
The floor and walls are so dirty.
The cockroaches lives in hives.
The doctors and nurses wear uniforms with dirt.
The old man sleeping at the corridor pulled down his pant and shit on the spot as if to greet us.
Imagine tat.
We were in utter shock at the hospital. And the thing is we have to get the push trolley by OURSELVES and then PUSH him OURSELVES to the supposing department.
WTF! Self service!
When we reach the corridor, the doctor walked over and said to us:
“U want to let him sleep in that room? The old man beside the bed we going to give to ur friend IS GOING TO DIE TONITE. So if he not scare he can sleep there…”
Crazy! Of cos cannot la… So end up, Almeric was “warded” in the CORRIDOR! Wat hospital is this?

I just now mentioned bout the old man who shit rite? The cleaner came, and u know wat? She got a mop… and THEN… She mop the shit up, no wash, and DRAGGGGGED the mop on the floor on her way across the collidor!
ERGGGG! Disgusting!

The vast differences btw this and Singapore hospital are too hugh for us to handle…

Seeing the situation, we decided on a duty shift to take care of Almeric… So the first nite was me and Don…
The first nite is shitty. That’s this room in front of the bed where all three patients inside can be heard VOMITTING. Like waterfall at least 5 times the first nite. WATERFALL. No one EVER vomit and can beat the waterfall sound…
Emergency room/ ICU just down the corridor
Due to SHANGHAILITICS (u should know), in the end only 5 of us is taking care of Almeric, with 2 person to 3 per shift, even though we have 13 people in the whole Oversea Attachment…

The procedures to get things are all SELF SERVICE. That means the doctor will precride a medinice. Or order more drips for Almeric. He will write in a invoice, pass it to us… then we need to go down to the Pharmercy and PAY FIRST b4 getting the medinice, then bring up to the nurse.
EVEN THE BAGS OF LIQUID ON THE DRIP IS SELF SERVICE GO AND TAKE ONE.
The nites are lonely for us, the people who did the shifts

Last day, finally eating.
The only consolation is this pretty nurse that works there… Hahah. Everytime she walk past us, Don’s eyes followed her every steps… LOL… I managed to take a few blur pics of her…
She’s the angel, Edwin’s the buddha. Hahah.
Almeric got discharged yesterdae. After 4 days of torment, BOTH FOR HIM AND US, finally,
“WE” ARE DISCHARGED!!!!
Ya. WE. not jus him.lol.
Honestly, if we sick, PLEASE DUN BRING US TO THE CHINA HOSPITAL.
Its sad to say that only when serious things happen will the real side of people show. Some of the OPP group people DID not show much concern bout this at all. They even make the tension high… And certain things went veri bad.
True character, good or bad, just erupted.
And there’s this guy who was ALWAYS there throughtout the whole ordeal, in the thick of it all. The guy who truely showed his good Character.
Don, always there for Almeric.
Respect man. He’s the one guy who bear the most responsiblity. The one who stayed for almost the whole time. The one who Planned everything to go well.
This kind of friend, where to find?
