Birthday Surprise aka Shock

Birthday Surprise aka The Shock Blind Date.

First off, I wanna say how lucky I am to have a group of wonderful friends who would, no doubt, go that extra mile for me – Like for example, on 17th Dec 2006, my birthday.

Cheeeeezy!

That fateful day, I was surposed to meet Halif and gang (you know, the usual GB family) at 12 pm.

Then, I was late, reaching there at 2pm instead of 1 pm. Aiya I was lazy
busy at home ma… so came out of my house late. Actually I should reach there by 1.15pm, but kena confused – cos i was told, amid denials, that the Pizza Hut we were meeting at is Suntec, when it was actually at Marina Square. -_-”’ So late lo, for one hour. Lan Lan suck thumb.

All seemed so fed up that I am late.

So I rushed down (running!!!) to the Pizza Hut, then went in. Surprise surprise. GB family all not there. No one seemed to arrive yet. The waitess seemed to be expecting me, and asked me to sit down, and wait for them to come.

The waitress passed me a plastic bag inside (that’s when I sensed the danger water) with a Saosin Cap, 35 bucks and a piece of note saying they got me a date.

SO there she is!

The entire Pizza Hut played “happy birthday” over the radio as she came walking out of the kitchen with a birthday cake…

U know how I felt? Like “What the hell!!??” No no wait more like… “What the FUCK???!!”
I was looking around for my friends while the whole time the Pizza Hut Customers and Crew all stare at my table laughing sliently.

Luckily I panicked and blushed kept my cool looking as handsome as I can.

A simple enjoyable lunch after that. All I can say is that the exprience is damn funny la. just imagine you were me.

Yup, that’s Velle. No not the fat santa looking Halif. The gal la.

Actually, Halif was the person who thought this out, since I was always complaining about wanting a date. I never expect them to do it up so seriously.

Lucky Velle was on enough. Becos they were having problems finding a gal to date me…

In fact they nearly wanted to make Lenny date me!
